Napier is home to several local councils including the Napier City Council. The Hawkes Bay Regional Council is also located in Napier. We have location and contact details for both councils.
The Napier City Council is also referred to as the Napier District Council. Its local government offices are located in the centre of the Napier's CBD. The Council is sometimes abbreviated to the NCC. The NCC is responsible for a large number of community facilities and notably several commerical entreprises such as conference centres, pools and even mini golf!
The Hawkes Bay Regional Council administers the entire Hawkes Bay Region of NZ. Located in the street behind Napier City Council, you'll notice the HBRC by the Aqua green coloured exterior. Local body elections are held every 3 years.
